Terms of Use
Stride · last updated 20 September 2026
By using Stride you agree to these terms. They sit alongside Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Your account
You need an account to compete. Keep your sign-in secure, give accurate information, and don't impersonate anyone. One person, one account.
Fair play
Steps must be yours, walked by you. Shaking your phone, strapping it to a pet or machine, editing Health data, or using another device to inflate a total is cheating. We may void results, reset a score, remove you from a league or close an account that does it.
Conduct
Don't harass, threaten, or abuse other players, and don't put anything obscene, hateful or misleading in a username, display name or photo. Report anyone who does, from their profile. We remove accounts that break this.
Stride Pro
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: pay once, keep it. Purchases are processed by Apple and restored through your Apple Account on any device. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.
Health and safety
Stride is a game, not a medical device. It doesn't give medical advice, and step counts from Apple Health are estimates. Walk sensibly: mind traffic, weather and your own limits, and talk to a doctor before a big change in activity. Never compete while driving.
Availability
Leagues run on a weekly schedule and depend on our servers and Apple's. We may change, suspend or end features, and the service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental loss.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account, which removes your data permanently. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We'll tell you in the app before materially changing these terms.
